Rockpool Beach Cafe, Tuncurry

Prime spot, near the water where I think a lot of the locals gather. Great atmosphere! It was very busy at 8.30am on a Thursday and I was sitting outside and the food and coffee was served to me with a smile! When I finished, I took the cutlery and crockery to the counter to help the staff (which is always greatly appreciated, everywhere else) but the young lass at the coffee machine, very abruptly asked me to not leave it there but to leave it on a table anywhere else, because she had to place her coffees there! I was quite taken aback! She could’ve easily taken the stuff off me and placed it in the kitchen. I mention this, because I travel a lot like most Aussies do and we do eat out and are very proud of the service we receive from most establishments. The girl is young, perhaps she needs to be taught how to be pleasant and maybe a little manners!

The awesome service offered by the girls of Rockpool beach café today only added to their smiles. A perfect iced coffee and a perfect iced chocolate along with a steak sandwich to die for... well worth a visit! Kiara, Shiralee, Felicity, Tracey & Chef Margaret. Thank you for going the extra mile
